Background injustice, exploitation and complicity: The ethics of clinical research in developing countries re-examined
Bioethics
My main research interests are bioethics and research ethics. Ongoing or recently completed projects address ethical issues in organ- and tissue transplantation, international clinical research, assisted reproduction and cosmetic surgery. I draw on analytic moral philosophy as well as phenomenology and hermeneutics in order to analyze these issues. I also take an interest in more theoretical questions about autonomy, exploitation, commodification and collective responsibility.
Before taking up my current position, I was a post doc at Centre de Recherche Sens, Éthique, Société, Université Paris Descartes (2010-2012) and at the Stockholm Centre for Healthcare Ethics (2009-2010). I have a PhD from Linköping University (2008).
