Luck Egalitarianism and Health: Reconsidering the idea of personal responsibility
I am currently working on a PhD in politcal theory. It involves the application of the influential theory of distributive justice, Luck Egalitarianism to distributive justice in health. I have worked on applying it to oral health, public health and the rationing of livers. I am also writing articles on more theoretical questions, through a critique of Shlomi Segalls interpretation of Luck Egalitarianism. During my stay, which falls in the final year of my PhD I hope to write an article putting forth my own theory of luck egalitarianism in health, building on my work so far and distinquising it from other attempts at such an application In the spring of 2013 i will be an visiting PhD at University of Glasgow.
