Sexual Health for Australians: Actions, Omissions and Achievements.
Meredith Temple-Smith is a Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of General Practice in the Medical School at the University of Melbourne, where her role focuses on increasing the research capacity of primary care clinicians, and conducting primary care research. A mixed methods researcher, her interests centre on sexual and reproductive health, hepatitis C, and health services research. She is highly regarded for her knowledge on both theoretical and practical methods for the uptake of complex interventions in primary care. Her research focus at Brocher is on the history of venereal diseases. She will examine advances made in the clinic, the laboratory and the community and explore their strengths and weaknesses in relation to ethics, law and society.
