As a Bioinformatics and Data Science Research Scientist, my work lies at the intersection of Global Health, Genomics and Data science, driving solutions to address pressing public health challenges.

Currently pursuing a PhD through the Makerere University Data Science Research Training Program (MakDARTA), a Clinical Research Leadership Fellow at the University of Oxford's ISARIC group. I am also an Inaugural scholar of Pandemic Preparedness at the University of California, San Francisco at the Institute of Global Health Sciences, IGHS-UCSF.

My research focuses on leveraging health data and AI-driven insights to improve and strengthen public health systems. With a foundation in Biomedical Laboratory Technology and an MSc in Bioinformatics from Makerere University, my career has spanned hands-on lab work—phlebotomy, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, sequencing, and big data analysis—to frontline research as part of Uganda's national rapid response team during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I’m deeply inspired by Africa’s data revolution and exploring applications of machine learning and AI to transform health outcomes, especially, in resource-limited settings.

My contributions and interests include a commitment to mentoring and empowering the next generation of scientists. Beyond Research, I’m a big advocate and enthusiast of wellness, balance and intentional living, using digital content creation as I inspire others to align personal growth with professional success.
